My interest in photography started when my father gave me an Argus C31 Rangefinder when I was ten years old. After college I borrowed my father's Nikon and truly began my photographic journey. Many of my photographs have been taken within Great Smoky Mountain National Park. During my numerous trips to the Smokies, I have developed a deep fondness for the park, especially Cades Cove and the Middle Prong. My other interests include photographing birds of prey, especially the bald eagle. Whenever I can find the time you will find me in the field photographing wildlife and anything else that catches his interest.
My images have been used by the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens and other publications. During the day I own and run a computer service company and have more than 20 years of experience in Information Systems. I am also part owner of MK Controls Inc., a new company that produces camera control systems. Our first product, the Lightning Bug™, is used to safely photograph lightning.
